macro friday

i don't have much experience in the whole macro department, so i thought i'd give it a shot this week. out on my lunch break, i was walking around downtown with my camera like a lunatic searching for something i could practice macro on. does anyone else feel silly taking pictures of weird things in public, or is it just me?

I love this -- peeling paint and cool texture -- very nice : )

Yes, sometimes I feel a little weird when I am out taking pictures -- but the more I do it the easier it gets.

Great shot. shooting in public can take nerve, but jsut think of anything viewable from the street as public domain.. and then start up a conversation with whom ever looks at you weird. LOL

When I got my bee marco a few months ago, I didn't even realize I was shooting in a tree next to a drive-up mailbox......Met a lot of nice people that day :) lol

It does take some guts shooting in public period.....shooting macro in public is particularly daunting, cuz, well.....we all look REALLY cool holding a camera three inches from a flower......

Great shot!

If feel silly sometimes shooting in public...especially when I am in the zone and feel like everyones eyes are on me....lol...but its an art form and I think people are generally just curious....Again Great Shot!!
